Steinway & Sons Vintage Keyslip

You've requested it, so we're tooling up for it! Soon available from VCP will be a vintage Steinway-style keyslip. Made of maple, ribbon mahogany, walnut or rosewood, this part is of the correct thickness and contour for older Steinway grands. The current production keyslip from Steinway & Sons is inappropriately proportioned for their vintage instruments--it protrudes beyond the cheek faces and keybed edge, and the ogee curvature and overall height are too great. Expect availability on this new part by September 1, 2007.
